'Grace and Favour' complete and ready to go!

The full-length stage musical 'Grace and Favour' is complete and ready for promotion in a fully-revised version! Music is all by myself and book and lyrics are by British writer and actor Jane Scott. Head to MUSIC to hear some of the songs in brand new recordings. 'Grace and Favour' is a dark and humourous contemporary fairytale. The show tells the story of Grace - a girl abandoned by her weak father and narcissistic stepmother, and sent to a bizarre progressive school in a remote forest run by a strange old lady. Here she falls in love, remains loyal to her family and watches as tragedy unfolds. It's a moving story with a big heart, lightened by plenty of humour and a great sense of energy in the lyrics, music and dialogue. We had some very encouraging feedback on the first draft of this work from the Cardiff International Festival of Musical Theatre, which you can check out at REVIEWS, and we have high hopes for this newly-revised version. A special thank you to all the singers who performed for these recordings and did such a great job - Emilie Lemasson as Young Grace, Eva Spata as Carolanne, Jeremy Curtin as Sir Felix Statione and Michael Curtin as Swanny. Also big thanks to recording engineer Michael Bartolomei at One Chook Studio, Bondi.
