From the recording Fairy Folk

Lyrics
They whisked me away
At the end of the day
On bluebells with butterfly wings
For fairy cake
And tea by the lake
And all kinds of magical wonderful things
It wasn't much fun
When the fairies had gone
I'd look for them all through the day
Then late in the night
They'd glide into sight
And I knew it was safe
To go outside and play
Fairy folk are shy folk
They only play out after dark
For they can sometimes be seen
In the gleam of a sunbeam
Then one Summer's night
I got such a fright
When they said I was going away
Out from the woods
For my own good
But where I was going to
No one would say
Fairy folk are shy folk
They only play out after dark
For they can sometimes be seen
In the gleam of a sunbeam
Yes they can sometimes be seen
In the gleam of a sunbeam
Look carefully into the sun...
